Replacing a Print Unit
When replacing a print unit, refer to the following table. For optimum print
quality and performance, use only approved KONICA MINOLTA print units for
your specific printer type, as listed in the table below. You can find your printer
type and the print unit part numbers on the consumables reorder label inside
the front cover your printer.
" “I-UNIT” displayed in the control panel refers to the print unit.
Note
Do not touch the OPC drum
surface. This could lower image
quality.
If I-UNIT LOW on the SYS DEFAULT MENU/ENABLE WARNING is set
to ON, the message I-UNIT LOW X (where “X”. represents the color of the
toner) appears when a print unit becomes empty. Follow the steps below to
replace the print unit.
" You are advised to replace the indicated print unit when the message
I-UNIT LIFE X appears.
1 Check the message window to see which color print unit needs replacing.
